Azure Magazine

AZURE is an award-winning magazine with a focus on contemporary architecture and design. Since its launch in 1985, it has earned a global reputation for excellence. Published eight times a year, AZURE is an indispensable resource for architects, designers and the design-savvy public. AZURE is proud to support Casey House and the Design Exchange through Dinner by Design - connecting the design community with these important initiatives.

Design Exchange is Canada’s only museum dedicated to the pursuit of design excellence and preservation of design heritage. At the crossroads of multiple disciplines from furniture design and architecture to graphic design and fashion, DX exhibitions, talks and educational programming reflect contemporary culture. Located in downtown Toronto, in the historic Toronto Stock Exchange building, DX annually attracts thousands of visitors of all ages. Design touches each and every one of us on a daily basis. It is as much about addressing and bettering basic human needs such as post-disaster housing and caring for an aging population, as it is about luxury goods and novel experiences. Good design defines our individual experiences and impacts how we build healthy, sustainable communities, cities and countries. It is the micro and the macro of our everyday existence. By offering unique and accessible experiences, DX educates and shares design stories to highlight the importance and relevance of design.

Nobody should have to manage the devastating disease of HIV/AIDS alone. Today, more people in Toronto are living with HIV than in 1988, when Casey House first opened our doors. Life with HIV can be full of hardship. Our clients are terribly ill, they continue to be stigmatized, most are very poor, and most are desperately alone. It is for these people that Casey House exists. Our dedicated team is driven to deliver health care excellence, together with our founders’ commitment to respect, compassion and kindness. And it is thanks to our community that this is possible. For as long as we are needed, Casey House will be here, continually adapting to support the diverse health care needs of people living with HIV/AIDS in Toronto. But we can only do it with your help. We need your support today more than ever. Together, we’re opening the door to a new future of HIV/AIDS health care.
